Hello everyone! Welcome back to the blog! It’s not often that I’m found in the photos of the blog post since I’m usually the one behind the camera. On this day, I was lucky enough to have photographer Alyssa Liberatore take photos while I made cinnamon rolls from scratch.
I’m not kidding, these really are the best cinnamon rolls ever!
The recipe I’m following comes from Ellie Mecham’s YouTube Channel. I’ve linked the recipes below.
The dough
Rolling cinnamon rolls up is really on of my favorite things. I love working with a fresh dough recipe. In the video, Ellie mentions a great tip to cut them. Using dental floss! This tip worked out fantastically! I definitely prefer it to using a knife because the knife can squish the cinnamon rolls.
One thing we failed to do is capture an actual after shot! If that doesn’t say how good these are, I don’t know what does. I plopped the fantastic cream cheese frosting on these and as soon as I was done spreading it out, people were ready to eat.
You know they are just so good when you glob the icing on and then everyone eats them faster than you can get a plated photo!
Here’s another great breakfast sweets recipe to try!
