Kitchenaid vs Zacme

It’s true! I was just as shocked but am so excited. My Kitchen Aid mixer would overheat when mixing anything as thick or thicker than cookie dough so I decided it was time to do some research and look into a new mixer. I tried the mixer for the first time on YouTube and shred my reaction. Below are some key findings from the video.

Motor Comparison Kitchen Aid vs. Zacme

The Zacme mixer has a DC motor as compared to the Kitchen Aid’s AC motor. It’s DC motor has higher power than the AC motor in the KitchenAid making it able to mix thicker doughs and able to mix for longer periods of time. The Zacme not only has a higher powered motor, it also has a fan inside to keep the mixer cool so it can run at higher speeds for longer periods of time.

MIXING COMPARISON KITCHEN AID VS. ZACME

I started out trying the whisk. I usually mix around a dozen eggs at a time. I have tried mixers in the past that did not fully mix the eggs. The Zacme mixed the eggs perfectly. Next, I tried the dough hook and I was really interested to see if the mixer would be able to mix my dough long enough without overheating. It worked beautifully. My dough was soft and supple and the mixer never struggled. Finally, I tried the paddle attachment which worked just as well as the Kitchen Aid. I was most impressed with how the machine processed thick doughs; the reason I purchased the mixer.

kitchen aid vs zacme special features

The Zacme Mixer has a light! Yes, a light! It conveniently lights up the inside of the bowl which is great to see your ingredients and for filming!

The Zacme Mixer also has a timer and automatic stop which is a game changer. Have you ever had a recipe say mix for five minutes and you had to set a timer and make sure to turn off the mixer 5 minutes later. This mixer shuts it off for you which is great for multitasking. I really love this feature.

The Kitchen Aid Mixer is a bowl lift where the Zacme is a tilt head. At least, the Kitchen Aid that I have. I thought I wouldn’t like the tilt head but I haven’t minded it at all.

The Zacme face plate comes off and features a spot for attachments similar to how Kitchen Aid has attachments. I don’t believe there is quite the selection of attachments but I have found that I don’t use my attachments for the Kitchen Aid all that often and the motor on the Kitchen Aid really can’t stay on for long enough to use them even on the lowest speed.
