These rolls are delicious as rolls or even make them into Cinnamon Rolls! The dough is not quite as sweet as King’s as written (that’s how I like it). However, if you would like a sweeter dough, add an extra 2-4 tbsp of sugar. You’ll love these rolls!


Hawaiian Rolls
Ingredients
Proof
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp yeast
Add Remaining Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar Add extra for a sweeter roll. As written these are less sweet than King's.
- 9-10 cups flour
- 1 tbsp salt
Instructions
- Mix proofing ingredients and let proof until bubbly or it has risen in size
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until a smooth dough forms
- Let the dough rise for 1-2 hours. (This can be sped up by using a warmer area)
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Shape dough into 40g rolls
- Bake at 375° for 20-35 minutes
