After searching and searching and finding so many different recipes for cloud bread with a each recipe containing different ingredients, I found a quick and easy cloud bread recipe.
I decided I would make this recipe for only one small loaf because I wanted to make sure I was going to like it and I conveniently had only one egg left in the house.
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 and 1/3 Tbsp Protein Powder
Dash of Salt
Coconut Oil
While the ingredients seem simple, this actually was a bit more work than I expected. Use the coconut oil to grease the pan. Then, Separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Beat the egg white until it becomes a whipped texture. I of course, do not own an electric mixer and did this by hand. Not fun.
Once you have the whipped cream texture, mix the salt, egg yolk, and protein powder together then fold gently into the egg whites until completely mixed.
Bake at 350% until lightly golden then enjoy!
Such a great alternative when you are cutting carbs!
