When I moved into my house, I removed a bush and created a small flower garden. Since then, I’ve increased my curb appeal by giving my garden a complete makeover.
This project was especially cool because of how much of my landscaping I was able to reuse. I moved the rocks into my back yard to create a rock and vegie garden (more to come on that later) and I moved the grass from the back yard into the front yard. I used the backyard grass to add a layer to the front yard and to patch in the new areas that didn’t have grass. My front yard had sunken and water had been piling up everywhere. Now, not so much and the grass is all starting to look whole.
It’s also funny how the garden changes throughout the season. The pictures below span over two and a half months. Also, check out those roots from my huge tree! The roots are about an inch and a half thick.
Was just thinking of doing a flower garden to give my son something to do on Saturday mornings and teach him responsibilities. This turned out great
Extending and adding that wall really makes everything look so much nicer. Wonderful upgrade.
It looks so good! I love flowers in a yard!
