Video Summary
In this video, I unbox and share my first impressions of the Zacme 8.4-quart stand mixer that Zacme sent me to review. I compare it to my previous 5.5-quart Zacme mixer, highlighting the upgraded 8.4-quart capacity, quieter 800W DC motor, built-in light, timer, pause function, and user-friendly design. After washing the attachments, I put it to the test by making a double batch of s’mores cookies—a recipe that typically overflows my smaller mixer. The larger bowl easily handles all of the ingredients without spilling, leaving me excited to test even larger batches like pizza dough in a future video. I wrap up by sharing my favorite features and thanking Zacme for providing the mixer.

I love it. Oh wow! I was not expecting it to be this quiet.
Ooh, you know this handle? Love that.
Okay, let’s see.
Oh no! I just turned that on way too fast without even thinking about it.
We have a fun video today! We are going to be testing out Zacme’s 8.4-quart stand mixer, and I cannot wait.
You guys know how much I love Zacme mixers. When I bought my 5.5-quart mixer, I specifically looked for all the features I wanted, and that’s how I ended up choosing Zacme. Zacme was kind enough to send me this one to review for you, so let’s jump right in and see what it’s like.
I think I’m going to have to set this down to get it out of the box.
Okay, this came packaged really well. It’s double boxed with Styrofoam, and it even reminds you to check the side because that’s where the attachments are.
Beautiful!
Oh, I love it. It’s a matte finish. I was not expecting that. It is so pretty.
Here’s how everything comes packaged, and we’re going to take a look at every little detail.
Okay, everything is out of the box. I love how big this bowl is. This is an 8.4-quart mixer, so it’s much larger than my previous one.
Let’s see how easy it is to lift.
Easy!
Look at this. Oh, I have a lot of thoughts already. You need to see this in all its glory.
Do you see how beautiful this is?
Wow.
Here’s the mixer. I love that all of the controls are on this side because this is the direction I usually have my mixer facing. Everything is right in front of me instead of being on the back or the opposite side.
This bowl is huge, which I absolutely love.
It comes with a paddle attachment, dough hook, and whisk.
Now let’s talk features.
I haven’t plugged it in yet, but we have the side lock, which was incredibly easy to use. The bowl twists in and out smoothly, and I can do it with one hand.
This 8.4-quart bowl can hold up to 3,000 grams of dough, which is a lot. My bread dough is usually around 875 grams, so this should easily handle three or even four loaves.
The speed dial lets you gradually increase the speed instead of jumping straight to high.
It also has both a countdown timer and a count-up timer, which is really convenient.
I’m excited to see the light because my other Zacme mixer has one too.
Let’s plug it in and test it.
I’m also curious to see just how quiet it is. My other mixer is already very quiet, and one of the reasons I originally chose Zacme was because it uses a DC motor.
This mixer has an 800-watt DC motor, while my previous mixer has a 650-watt motor, so I’m hoping this one performs even better.
I’m excited to see how many batches of cookies and pizza dough it can handle.
Let’s try it out.
Okay, let’s plug it in.
The light is in a different location.
Oh, I love it!
The light stays on even when the head is lifted, which is fantastic.
Let’s see how smoothly it changes speeds.
Wow.
You guys, I was not expecting it to be this quiet.
My other mixer is quiet, but this one is so quiet you can barely hear it.
Let’s go all the way up.
That’s full speed.
Wow.
Of course, it has cooling fans to keep the motor cool.
There’s also a pause button.
Let’s set the timer for 30 seconds.
Now it’s counting down.
I love that it beeps when it’s finished.
If you don’t preset the timer, it automatically counts up so you know how long you’ve been mixing.
I also know from my other mixer that the cooling fan stays on briefly after you’re done and then shuts itself off.
Now let’s look at the attachment hub.
We simply lift this cover and attach accessories here. I already own the shredder attachment and love how easy it is to use.
There goes the fan. It just shut off after cooling down.
The attachment cover slides back on securely.
I’m going to wash everything, and then let’s make some cookies.
This is cool.
While I was gathering ingredients, I noticed the light automatically turned off after sitting idle for a while instead of staying on unnecessarily.
That’s another nice feature.
Everything is washed, and this base is not going anywhere. The suction feet hold it firmly in place.
Today I’m making s’mores cookies.
We’ll mix the wet ingredients first, then the dry ingredients, and finally all of the mix-ins—the part that usually doesn’t fit in my smaller mixer.
Let’s get started.
We’ll add the eggs and vanilla.
My hand keeps reaching toward the back because that’s where the controls are on my other mixer.
Let’s scrape the bowl.
Now we’ll add the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Ooh, this handle.
I love it.
I didn’t realize this would become one of my favorite features, but it makes lowering the head so easy.
Now comes the part where my smaller mixer usually struggles.
We’re adding chocolate chips, marshmallows, and Rice Krispies.
Let’s see what happens.
Oops! I turned it on way too fast without thinking.
But look at this.
It handled everything perfectly.
The last time I made this double batch in my smaller mixer, ingredients flew out of the bowl because it was so full.
Look at all that room.
What a beautiful dough.
It handled that with no trouble at all.
You guys, I am so excited about the capacity of this mixer.
The bowl is only about halfway full, even after adding all of those ingredients.
It wasn’t even close to overflowing.
This is amazing.
I cannot wait to test it with eggs and pizza dough to see if I can triple my usual pizza dough recipe.
I’ll be testing that in the next video, so stay tuned.
To recap, I love all of the familiar Zacme features along with the improvements.
The side lock is fantastic.
The handle turned out to be one of my favorite features.
The attachment cover fits securely.
I love being able to increase the speed gradually.
The count-up and countdown timers are incredibly useful.
And the light is one of my favorite features, especially when filming because it makes it much easier to see inside the bowl.
I can’t thank Zacme enough for sending me this mixer.
I’ve wanted this model for a long time, and I was secretly hoping they’d send one to review.
I’m so happy they did.
