Here’s a great quick and easy breakfast casserole using all of the best flavors! It’s a take on pigs in a blanket but uses sausage instead of little smokies and has some added onion jam for a leveled up flavor!

Pigs in a Blanket Breakfast Casserole

Servings 4

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Refrigerator Crescent Rolls
  • 4 tsps Dijon Mustard
  • 8 tsps onion jam I use Ball's Balsamic Onion Jam Recipe
  • 8 thawed and cooked breakfast sausages
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Lay crescent rolls out on surface.
  • Brush each roll with 1/2 tsp of Dijon mustard across the entire surface.
  • Add a 1 tsp dollop of onion jam to the wide part of the roll.
  • Place one sausage at the wide part of each roll.
  • Roll from large to small end and place point down in a greased dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the rolls.
  • In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk, and salt/pepper.
  • Pour egg mixture over the rolls.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes.
