This Month’s Top Post: Laundry Hack– August 2016– 429 Views

This Month’s Runner Up: April 2017 Blog Income Report  – 257 Views

Just like last month, I saw a decline in page views.  I’m still quite impressed with the amount of page views the blog had for my minimal effort.  I didn’t share my normal amount of pins on Pinterest and I didn’t share as much as I usually do on Facebook.

Last month I started getting requests to guest post on the blog which couldn’t have come at a better time!  I now have 4 guest posts either posted or scheduled. This shows me that the blog has hit a new high even if the stats have gone down a bit.

On the home front, we get to move into our house this week!  So, I’m going to be crazily organizing and setting up the house because in a little over three weeks Nick and I are getting married!  Crazy Summer.

I have definitely been missing the blog though.  I’m excited to cook in the new house and share my recipes.  I’m excited to share my new garden, and all of the decorating and such.  I’m going to continue posting on Tuesdays only through the end of July and hopefully will be able to pick back up with my regular blogging schedule in August.

Last month I talked about  behind behind on Tailwind.  Even after getting caught up, I am back to being behind.  I’ve decided that that’s okay and this summer I’m going to just do what I have the time to do.

I did not get all of the posts scheduled for the next two months but I am pretty close.  I have the four posts for June scheduled as I usually schedule a month in advance.  In July, I just need to do a house update and then the blog income report.  Hopefully in July after the honeymoon I will be able to get my normal posts ready for August.

Happy Summer!

  1. Love the transparency about your blog and income! Still figuring out how to monetize my blog so I’m bookmarking this for future reference. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love to read other blogger’s income reports. When I first started it gave me hope that I could make a full time income at this! When you hit 30,000 pageviews per month, you should check into Mediavine. They pay way more than the two previous ad companies that I was with!

  3. I love income reports! And I’m impressed that you expenses are so low and you’re already making money! I haven’t set up ads on my site yet, except for a few Amazon Affiliate ads. I suppose I need to get on that, lol 🙂
