Welcome back to my Blog!

I am very excited about this post because I have been obsessing over all things hot wings recently!  I came across this extremely simple way of making hot wings at home and had to try it!

The first step here is to buy chicken wings.  I’ve tried multiple kinds of wings and I’ve realized that I like the King Soopers brand the best.  They may not be quite as cost efficient as the Costco brand but I like them better because the skin is thinner.

This recipe is literally as easy as 1, 2, 3 as cheesy as that sounds!

Step 1: Drop as many chicken wings as you would like into your crock pot.  Add enough sauce to the pot  to lightly coat the wings.  If your chicken wings are frozen, just set the temp to high and give it about 6 hours or so.  If your chicken wings are not frozen, you may need to add a bit of water to the pot.

Step 2: Once the chicken wings are fully cooked, remove them from the crock pot and put them on a foil lined cookie sheet.  Brush the tops with another coat of sauce and pop them into the oven at 450 degrees for 5-10 minutes.  This step is of course optional but makes them taste so much better than straight out of the crock pot because it dries them out a bit.

Step 3: Serve and devour!

I’ve also been obsessing with Anthony’s Pizza’s Cranberry Habanero wing sauce.  Has anybody else tried it?

  1. OMG! Is it that easy? You have just made my little one very happy. Wings are like Truffles in my home. Now I can make them more often with less mess. You are awesome thanks for the post!
