Deviled Eggs

Spooky Deviled Eggs

A fun Halloween appetizer

Equipment

  • Ziplock bags

Ingredients
  

  • 6 each Eggs
  • 2 colors Food Coloring
  • 3 tbsp Mayonaise
  • 1 tsp Mustard (any kind) Optional
  • 1 tsp Pickle Juice Optional

Instructions
 

  • Boil the eggs for 15 minutes
  • Put the eggs into a cold water bath until eggs are cool
  • Roll eggs on the counter to crack the shells. Do not peel the shells yet.
  • Put the eggs in a ziplock bag with the food dye of your choice and a few drops of water and let sit for an hour. The more concentrated the food dye is, the less time they need
  • Peel and rinse the eggs
  • Slice the eggs in half lengthwise
  • Remove the yolk from the egg and put into a bowl
  • Add mayo, mustard, pickle juice, and other food coloring and mix
  • Use a piping bag with tip of your choice or a spoon to fill the egg whites with the egg yolk mixture.
