Welcome back to the blog!  A

By now, you all know how much I like to have ready made food around the house.   This is one of my favorites.

I love making waffles in large quantities and freezing them in individual packages so they are easy to grab.

You can make these either with a box recipe or your own.  I used the Krusteauz Belgium Waffle box mix for mine.

Be sure to get a big enough bowl!  I almost spilled because my bowl was too small.  I made the entire batch of batter, put on some music, and started cooking.

All together, it took about an hour but now I’m able to grab waffles any time I want them.  Just pop them in the toaster, flip, and toast again.

I chose to put three waffles together when I wrapped them.  Next time, I may only put two because three is a bit too much for me with the homemade waffles.

Enjoy!

Spread the love

  1. I’m a huge fan of ready to go food too. We don’t have a waffle maker (side story: we’ve bought 2 so far that we had to return…we haven’t found one we were happy with yet!!) but we do freeze pancakes and fruit (for smoothies) and even scones. It’s a great idea.

  2. That’s a great idea. I am 8 months pregnant right now and looking for ideas to stock my freezer with food to go for the weeks/moths following baby’s arrival. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. This sounds delicious never made any homemade before only store bought I can image how yummy it is. We always freeze our food it helps when you have a family. Makes life a little easier haha. Thanks for sharing!

  4. These look great! Breakfast is my favorite meal so I always try to have a good one! I guess we’ll have to buy a waffle maker some time soon 🙂

  5. Freezer waffles are a great idea for my kiddo’s breakfast! He reheat these and add whatever toppings he likes.

  6. I need to do this. I’ve been making overnight oats for our busy mornings but I need a change! And we just bought a chest freezer, so I will now (finally) have room to do some real freezer meal prep!
